Sulfur;
*A preservative method whereby herbs are spread on screens, which is some heated sulfur.
*The sulfur residues are not sulfites,which is what have a reaction to and do not cause a problem in sultite-sensitive individuals.
*Sulfur is one of the most prevalent elements in the human body, and is essential all life.
*Some companies have sulfur-free herbs(30% more high cost& short life)
There are many hot springs in Japan . Sulfur hot springs is a one of the type of hotsprings(Nasu hotspring, Kusatsu hot spring ,Hakone hot spring.)
Near my house there are Hakone hot springs which have special product that is boiled egg .It is used hot sping water when it cook. After cook the eggshell chenged to black! It says if you eat one egg you can get 3years more long life...
If you have a chance to go Hakone hotspring please try it.

I think all three because alchemy's history is so mysterious and full of worldly desires of human beings.

I love the idea too. I go to alot of local hot springs.Cooking an egg in one sounds fascinating. will let you know it turns out.
