Water and Ice Module

I reviewed Water and Ice Module.

Water is a polar molecule. Why does ice float? Because ice is less dense than water. The density of water is 1.0 gm/cubic cm.

The density of ice Ih is 0.931 gm/cubic cm.

In liquid water each molecule is hydrogen bonded to approximately 3.4 other water molecules.

In ice each each molecule is hydrogen bonded to 4 other molecules.

When I want to drink cold water I put in a freezer a bottle of water using PET bottle .
Sometimes I forget to drink it next day expanded. It was happened for this reason!

Transitional Metal of the Week

I pick up "Zn" for my Transitional Metal of the Week .
I have heard before this Zinc can privent a symptom(beginning) of common cold .
And good for cure of sterility for male.

The Periodic Table of Elements :Review

Atomic number=Number of Protons= Number of Electrons

* Fe has 26 atomic , Protons and Electrons.

Atomic Mass= Number of protons + Number of Neutron

* Fe's Atomic Mass is 56,

Therefore (Atomic Mass )56- (Atomic number or protons or Erectrons) 26= 30
30 is Fe's Number of Neutron !

Ozone

I talked with my friend about Ozone. I only know that Ozone protects us from strong ultraviolet light and Ozone hole.
My frend told me Ozone can use for disinfection of water and insecticide. We also talked about CFCs. That is usually using in a refrigerater. But it makes Ozone hole.We wish somebody could invention new refrigerater that using insted of CFCs ...

Element of the week

I chose "Fe" as a Element of the week. When I was young I had an anemic (caused by lack of Iron). Fe is a very important for our blood.

4- d

I was surprised by the article about "Lipstick plant" .There are many astonishing numbers. A plastic is very useful for us but now we have to think about the matter . I would like to try as less plastic as possible as I can.
The other thought about exhaust gas issue(cycling is officially chic). I am glad to hear that New Baybridge will have sidewalks.
